Abstract

This dataset presents the water wells of the Saint-Mathieu Esker area in Abitibi. The St. Mathieu esker is located in La Motte, Abitibi and extends 150 km northward. A total of 42 wells were used for groundwater levels and 31 for permeability tests.

The dataset comes from the BolducMod.mdb database the tables tblPuits, tblConstruct, tblNivEau, libSource and tblUnits were joined to create the dataset. The dataset was then converted in a vector type file with ArcGIS using the wells X and Y available coordinates (UTM NAD 1983 zone 17).
